What's it About?

     50 Cards is a work of fiction, but Billy Burchfield is not. He is a 15 to 16 year old version of the author. The book is rather unique as it has two main characters and reader has multiple chapters before they can guess how the two may collide. It is a murder mystery, mixed with humor. 

     The novel takes place in the Mississippi Delta in a much simpler time. It is a fast read, that leaves the reader guessing until the last page. Any avid reader should find a place for it on their bookshelves.

Character Description

Billy Burchfield was small and slightly built for a 15-year old. His hair was so wirey it was impossible to style, so he kept it cut close in a make-shift mullet. It also wasn’t auburn…it was bright red.
